Saatech Systems Pty Ltd have represented SawQuip International Inc. in Australia since Nov 2004. Since Dec 2005 Saatech Systems have also representatived SawQuip International in New Zealand.
Based in Québec, SawQuip operates out of a 35,000sqf facility. Their manufacturing focus is on high-speed, high-efficiency canter twin and quad thin-kerf circular sawing systems for logs, and curve following canters and canter-profilers and subsequent curve sawing flitch resaws. SawQuip have successfully developed and marketed their highly innovative CCO infeed, optimiser-controlled log infeed system. Functionally equivalent to the best DLI systems, but without the headaches, the physical size, complexity or cost, the CCO - Continuously Controlled Orientation - infeed has proven an outstanding success. With 4 CCO infeed systems now installed, customers are becoming accustomed to the mechanical simplicity, ease of cleaning and maintenance afforded by the chainless conveying system, and the major sawn recovery uplifts that are evident.
The CCO will be of particular interest to those larger Australian pine sawmills who are still using their Kockums 447 style self-centering log infeeds.

Saatech Systems Pty Ltd have represented LMI Technologies Inc. as OEMs since 1994. Saatech's successful ProScan true-shape log scanning/revenue/sorting systems, which were widely adopted by many of Australia's largest sawmills, all feature LMI DynaVision laser scanning heads.
LMI work as partners rather than a supplier with many of the world's largest OEMs and System Integrators who supply automated machine vision solutions. This approach ensures LMI are best able meet their needs. Over the last 30 years, LMI has grown from a start-up sensor developer to a key player on the global stage, with the longest history and sensor vision experience.
The LMI brands Selcom®, DynaVision®, Sensors-95®, and Diffracto® successfully founded much of the machine vision industry dating back into the 1970's. Although some of these barnds have been retired, the wisdom and expertise gained through their history continues to guide present day development.
Saatech also supply LIMI replacement sensors and facilitate the repair of LMI sensors for the sawmilling industry. The well-known brand names include LMI DynaVision and LMI Selcom.
